Conques

Through the magic of video mapping, the tympanum of Sainte-Foy abbey church in Conques remarkably regains its original multi-coloured appearance. Designed as an allegory of our modern lives, the design created by THE JAM PROJECT uses clever variations of colour to highlight the different scenes on the tympanum, such as the angel fighting the demon. The transition from one tableau to another is smooth, inviting visitors and the audience to relive this masterpiece of Romanesque art and put their imagination to work.
